Suggestions:  Place a piece of rubber / weatherstrip between the wiper assembly and the fiberglass as it will lie against the fiberglass when you Lightly Snug up the two 17mm shaft bolts also a thin rubber washer on each shaft under the cowling to seal the shaft hole......... Be sure to leave the wiper arms off, the car until you have "visibly timed" the shafts to the left rest position by leaving the wiper switch on and bumping the ignition key to actuate the wiper motor. .......You'll have 5 wire connections : Ground, Low, High, Keyed 12V power in, 12V Constant power that supplies power the Park position points in the wiper motor assembly.

Thank you. I have been using the CMC manual for reference during my build. I did get the wicker motor from VMC so I’m assuming that they gave me the correct one. The 15 3/4 measurement was spot on for the distance between. See attached

Thank you for this info. I do see that the motor would sit really close, or against the cowl. The only issue is the factory wiper bracket holding it about 1/2” away. Does this get removed? Do you know.?

Sure….

Either remove that little bracket that hits against the cowl (it doesn’t need to be there on our cars), or bend it out of the way enough to let you attach the bracket to the cowl for added support.  You will need a spacer between the bracket and the cowl to fit the space, if you go that route, but again, that bracket isn’t needed.
