Mark your calendar and start making plans now for Carlisle 2020.  I've just signed a Speedster Owners room contract,  this wlll be our second year staying at Courtyard by Marriot in Shippensburg PA.  The Thursday night BBQ Buffet was enjoyed by everyone,  so we'll be doing this again.  I'll be posting the hotel room reservation information soon with more info to come from both Ed and myself  ~

Well Alan was talking about cars, but all kinds of creatures come to the meeting...

Thanks for confirming the dates for Carlisle in 2020, Alan.  Gonna be a tough assignment to match the great time we had for Carlisle 2019 but I have no doubt that it will be sensational.

Carlisle has been a major highlight of my year for 13 years now.  After  thirteen 2,500 mile round trips from Hot Springs for 2020, Alice and I will fly to Harrisburg and rent a car to participate next year.  I have always said that it's really about the great folks we visit with there annually and that part will continue for 2020.  The iron butt has worn plumb out after over 56,000 miles in the Speedster, and at age 81 at the 2020 Carlisle event who can blame me?  Can't wait to see everyone there!

You guys let me join in the fun and I fly in. Hoping to make it next year again! (Rich, save that right seat for me!)

Gee......  I thought it was because you look like @Paul Mossberg’s brother.

Wow @Lane Anderson. You must be getting younger. You used to be "dad."

Or you're not looking so good, perhaps?

I would enjoy this event, but it is a tall order for a west coaster.

Anyone have a California meet for 356's or replicas in 2020?

Vice versa to the Cali meet ups.

I plan on driving up to Carlisle from Atlanta this year, as soon as I can find out the registrars address, and was wondering if I could connect with anyone driving north.  Mini-caravan...?

@Meade - Several of us usually meet up in Christiansburg, VA on the way north.  I'm coming from the SC coast but Ron and Maddie Mullis come from Elijay, GA, in the mountains north of you.  I'm sure something can be put together.

Alan - Is the hotel block ready for us to make reservations yet?

Lane, I will try to find a link to the Mullis family. Keep me in mind if you know them.  I'm calling the motel today and get a room for myself; I cannot/never will be able to get my wife to go with me.

Meade, there is usually a discount for the block of rooms that Alan reserves.  Also, lots of wives go to Carlisle that have minimal interest in cars.  It's more about like minded people gathering to hang out and chat.  It's a very diverse group and a great chance to meet new friends. jus' sayin'

And some rare Roaster Reps too.

A quick note to thank the Merklinator et al for putting this fantastic event together. We'll book our room tomorrow. Not sure who else is helping but I'm guessing " New Spyder Ericson " and the " Coupe Laner "...

Always a good job guys. Ya'll learned well from the hard working Bruce.
